The AI hangover
AI website builders are brilliant — right up until the moment they aren't. If any of these ring a bell, you're in the right place.
“It looked perfect in the preview.”
Then someone clicked a button and nothing happened. The contact form has never sent a single email, and nobody can tell you why.
“The chatbot says it's fixed.”
It is not fixed. It is now confidently broken in a slightly different way, and apologising sincerely about it.
“One more prompt should do it.”
Forty-seven prompts later, the homepage is a different colour, the menu is gone, and you're not sure what you agreed to.
“It's 90% done.”
It has been 90% done for three weeks. The last 10% turns out to be the part that needed a developer all along.
No judgement — AI tools are genuinely useful, and I use them myself. They just work best with an experienced developer behind the keyboard. That's where I come in: I'll untangle what's there, keep the good parts, and get you properly live.

Friendly help from an actual human.
I'm James — a web developer based in Sweden, working with clients across Europe and the UK. I've been building websites since long before you could ask a robot to do it, and I genuinely enjoy helping people who aren't tech-savvy get the most out of the web.
You won't get jargon or judgement from me. Tried AI first and got stuck? Perfectly sensible — it's a useful tool with real limits. I explain things clearly, keep you in the loop, and make sure you always understand what's happening with your own website.
I work with WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify — and yes, I use AI tools myself. The difference is years of experience knowing exactly when they're wrong.
